Real children. Real journeys. Real moments that matter.

Every child is different, and progress doesn’t always look the same.

Sometimes it’s being able to walk into Kindy without tears. Sometimes it’s making a friend. Sometimes it’s trying a new food, joining in at swimming, or finally riding a bike.

These are some of the changes families have shared with us.

My 6-year-old son was suffering from extreme anxiety, and it was putting so much pressure on our family.

I couldn’t even go to the shower or the clothesline without him freaking out and having major panic attacks.

School drop-offs were extremely hard, with him having extreme meltdowns and running after me. He also wasn’t learning anything throughout the day.

As a mother, seeing my son like this was heartbreaking.

I was recommended Early Childhood Brain Balancing through a friend, and it changed our lives. He completed two 16-week programs and now has no anxiety.

He is loving life at school and home. We are so happy we found Early Childhood Brain Balancing. We highly recommend this program!

Extreme Anxiety

I had the pleasure of working with a lovely 4-year-old boy.

He has made such big leaps in his Early Childhood Brain Balancing program. He is now communicating his needs, ideas and emotions to his caregivers.

He is starting to develop confidence in his abilities to build friendships outside of his siblings and one friend at Kindy.

He has gone from not wanting to get into the pool at all to attending weekly swimming lessons and enjoying playing in the pool with his siblings.

He has also asked for his training wheels to be taken off his bike; he is practising daily to ride on his own.

He is much more regulated in his emotions, and his reactions are less severe.

He has been great to work with and is now ready to start Prep next year.

Early Intervention, No Diagnosis

This 5 year boy has made some wonderful progress throughout his Early Childhood Brain Balancing program. His mum noticed that he was beginning to settle to sleep a little more easily, which was an encouraging early change.

His stamina and resilience have also started to improve. He began initiating wrestling with his older brother and, rather than stepping away after a very short time as he previously had, he is now able to keep playing for several minutes.

There has also been a lovely improvement in his communication. He is becoming more eloquent in his speech, using wonderful descriptive language during conversations and becoming more confident with saying goodbye.

His social confidence is also growing. Mum is pleased to see him initiating play with other children at the park, interacting more with his peers in class and asking his siblings to play with him.

Another significant change Mum has noticed is a dramatic reduction in his desire to watch TV. He is increasingly choosing to engage in other activities and play.

These changes reflect wonderful growth in his communication, stamina, resilience, social confidence and engagement.

Meet Christie

I’m Christie, and I’m passionate about helping young children get the best possible start to school.

I have four children, including two stepchildren, and I’ve experienced firsthand how different every child can be.

My youngest struggled significantly when he started Kindy. Even with wonderful teachers, Kindy refusal and emotional regulation were a real challenge for him.

Watching him struggle changed the way I looked at the early years.

I became a strong believer that when a child starts Prep feeling competent and confident, it can influence their whole experience of school.

My background in teaching, nursing and child development, together with my training in the Melillo Method and Connected Kidz, has given me a unique perspective on how children develop and learn.

I love working with children and their families and seeing the little changes that can make such a big difference — a child joining in, trying something new, making a friend or doing something they couldn't do before.

If you’d like to talk about your child, please feel welcome to get in touch.

Yes, our program is grounded in evidence-based practices. We integrate approaches and techniques that have been extensively researched and proven effective in supporting neurodivergent individuals. I uses the Melillo method, which is based on established scientific research and clinical experience. I continuously evaluate and refine my strategies to ensure they are aligned with the latest research and best practices for neurodevelopmental support. By combining cutting-edge techniques with individualised care, our program aims to deliver measurable, positive outcomes for participants.

Research on the Melillo Method

Our program is ideal for children aged 3–17 years old. If your child is outside this range, reach out to see if we can help.

We target the root cause — developmental delays in the brain — using intensive, movement-based coaching sessions 3x per week. This consistent stimulation drives real progress.

Retained primitive reflexes can show up as emotional outbursts, poor coordination, anxiety, or learning delays. These early movement patterns should disappear as a child’s brain develops — but if they don’t, they can interfere with everyday functioning.

Most families notice changes within the first few weeks, while others see more gradual improvements over time. Consistency with the program is one of the most important factors influencing outcomes.

Parents commonly report improvements in:

  • Focus and attention

  • Emotional regulation

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Coordination and balance

  • School readiness

  • Learning and academic participation

  • Social skills and communication

  • Independence in daily activities

No. You don’t need to have a diagnosis to get in touch. If you have concerns about your child’s development, behaviour, learning or confidence, we’re happy to have a conversation.

We start by getting to know your child and understanding what you’re noticing at home, Kindy or daycare. From there, we can determine what approach may be appropriate for your child.

That’s okay. Children have different personalities, abilities and comfort levels. We work with your child and adjust activities to suit them.

Every child is different. The length and intensity of a program depend's on your child’s individual needs and goals.
